Memory Verse

Memorize with me! Memorizing Scripture is a way to fill yourself up with TRUTH. There is no better way to conquer fear, worry, hardship, suffering or to celebrate joy, peace, happiness or thankfulness than by speaking the Word of God.

2 Timothy 3:16-17

16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God[a] may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

John 9:1-3

Jesus Heals a Man Born Blind

9 As he went along, he saw a man blind from birth. 2 His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”

3 “Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” said Jesus, “but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him."

On Parenting...

Discipline imparts wisdom!

Proverbs 29:15 tells us we must discipline our children to save them. Brian and I attended a Tedd Tripp conference in the fall on his book Shepherding a Child's Heart. We recognize we are far from the perfect parents and that we desperately need to seek wisdom from God's Word and the examples of Godly parenting in our lives to help us raise our children. I strongly recommend the book!
